## Methodology

Objects in the V&A's collection whose place association is London — made here, depicting here, worn here — with images, from the museum's open API. What a museum holds is a record of what it collected, not of what London made: whole trades and neighbourhoods are missing because nobody acquired them. Images are served by the museum over IIIF and each tile links to the catalogue record. Objects carrying a content warning are excluded rather than adjudicated.
