## Methodology

Mid-year population estimates for Greater London from NOMIS, the ONS statistics service. Single years of age are fetched and bucketed into decades here, because aggregate age codes vary between NOMIS datasets while single years always mean what they say. Bars are scaled to the largest band rather than to an absolute axis.
