## Methodology

OHID Fingertips directly age-standardised mortality rate per 100,000 people aged under 75, using the 2013 European Standard Population. The published count, population denominator and 95% confidence limits are retained. This is a population-level indicator covering a defined list of causes; it cannot attribute an individual death to a local service or policy.
