## Methodology

Public realm trees recorded per borough. Read this as a record of surveying rather than of canopy: the GLA states that for three boroughs location data could not be provided for some or all records, which is why Croydon appears with a fraction of what a borough its size holds. The gap between the top and bottom of this chart is mostly the gap between boroughs that have completed an inventory and boroughs that have not.
