## Methodology

Metropolitan Police stop-and-search records over the last six published months, grouped by self-defined ethnicity. The self-defined field is recorded as 'Group - Detail'; the group is used because the detail splits into dozens of slivers too small to read. Shares are of all searches in the period, not of population — the comparison against London's demography is left to the reader rather than asserted here.
